Jerusalem

Client: Private
Location: Jerusalem
Area: 50.000 Sq.m.
Year: 2015

250 residential units, 150 rooms hotel complex, commercial and public spaces
Detailed Master Plan for 250 residential units, a 150 rooms hotel complex, commercial and public spaces, in the Historical railway station in Jerusalem. "Residential in the Station", 50.000 square meters above ground.
The old railway compound in Jerusalem is one of the most beautiful spots in the city. The complex, which was the final stop of the great Ottoman train, had been discontinued few decades ago. Being largely under conservation restrictions, the compound is inheriting now its unique characteristics. The complex is a mixture of ownerships and Programs, hosting entertainment, leisure, high-tech activities and parks, surrounded with some of the older most valuable neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
The idea of the project is to produce a quality lively residential compound influenced by the nature of the existing surrounding neighborhoods, combining old and new with a mix of luxury residences, hotel, and affordable housing and employment.
