New Business Park

1.00

Ashdod

Client: Private
Location: Ashdod
Area: 250.000 Sq.m.
Year: 2015

Apart from the country's largest sea port, the city of Ashdod never developed further business and employment opportunities. In an era where public transportation in Israel develops and distances between one place and another are shortening, it seems that the new business park in the city can be an opportunity to initiate local entrepreneurship as well as to attract large companies from the area, to come and settle in Ashdod.
The new complex will be designed according to the highest standards and green building codes to be adapted to its location, close to the sea and the dunes.
The first building will be constructed as a prototype, for an example, and it will determine the design rules to the rest of the buildings, to be constructed in the future.

Foot print

The faces of the building will be close to the building's lines as much as possible, to allow proximity to the adjacent buildings and the street, and thus producing urban intensity and shades along the sidewalks, allowing pedestrians moving throughout the park. The rest of the structure will allow an interior patio, so that movement between the buildings will be shaded and pleasant.

Ground floor

The commercial facades will turn the main streets and into the internal Patios.

Typical floor

The typical floor will be comprised of long stretches, with optimal width, allowing double loaded corridors.

Building

The various parts of the building will consist of several different floors, to create shading options and further use of roofs.

The spaces between the buildings will create internal squares where users and employees can rest, eat lunch or even hold meetings
